charity: water 2012 Annual Report
In 2012, I designed my fourth Annual Report for charity: water, continuing a multi-year effort to evolve how the organization communicates its impact to supporters. Each year we challenged ourselves to approach the report differently—experimenting with new storytelling formats and digital experiences that could better connect donors to the mission.
For the 2012 report, we adopted a mobile-first design approach, prioritizing readability and engagement on phones and tablets. The report paired immersive photography and concise storytelling to highlight both charity: water’s work in the field and the team supporting those efforts at home. The result was a flexible digital experience designed to make the organization’s impact accessible to a global audience, wherever they were viewing it.

charity: water 2011 Annual Report
This was my 3rd year designing charity: water’s Annual Report, but for the first time, the team wanted to move beyond a traditional print report and create an interactive digital experience. My challenge was to transform a large volume of data—numbers, statistics, and charts—into a compelling narrative that clearly communicated the impact of charity: water’s work both in the field and behind the scenes.
I designed the 2011 Annual Report as an engaging, interactive experience that brought the organization’s data and stories to life. Through thoughtful layouts, dynamic visualizations, and a narrative-driven structure, the report highlighted the scale of charity: water’s impact while making complex information easy to explore and understand.
